Swami Nirvanananda Live

Born in Italy, Swami Nirvanananda Saraswati travels the globe carrying only his guitar, harmonium, and a daypack. A follower of Paramahansa Yogananda, he is a member of India’s ancient Dashnami Vedanta Order of monks.

Artfully blending eastern and western elements, Swami Nirvanananda’s extraordinary talent and sweet songs of devotion open the heart and rouse the soul.

Recorded live in California in 1999, this CD captures all the energy and spontaneity of traditional call/response kirtan. A beautiful and passionate offering to the Divine.

Recorded live in 1999 before the consecrated altar of Sri Ramakrishna at the Hollywood Vedanta Society where Swami Nirvanananda, accompanied by musicians and devotees from Kali Mandir, sang during his summer tour.
